The significant building for Canada's federal government is called Parliament Hill located in Ottawa. Our political figure is the Prime Minister. Our Prime Minister is Stephen Harper. The people who get elected live in Canada and are running for the federal government. They get elected for having the most votes by the citizens. There are 307 people getting elected plus the Prime Minister. So 308 people get elected. Their official titles are Prime Minister and Members Of Parliment. One of the responsibilities of the Federal Government is military.

The prime minister gets elected into the federal government and the citezens elect them into power. There is only 1 person who works in the federal government and his official title is the prime minister. The federal government doesnt work for anybody because he/she is in charge of the federal which is the most powerful. Some of the responsibilities are: national secuirity, military and banking.
